All Dressed Up With No Where To Go (Inner Work)

I can’t be the only one who’s tired of wearing loungewear around the house, because getting dressed and actually going places is not a thing anymore lol… While things are starting open back up under new rules and regulations I think it’s extremely important to do some inner work. Looking and feeling good on the outside is important, yet its the inner work that really makes an overall improvement of self.

Inner Work:

The importance of inner work, usually when we think about work we think about day to day tasks, school work, or career goals. Sometimes we thrive on seeing external results, yet there are times when our energy and interactions need to move away from external work and focus on inner work. Thoughts, transformation, desires, the challenge with inner work is that it can be intangible there is no reward when our when mindfulness helps us bring gratitude into our daily life.  Inner work is no less difficult but in fact sometimes way more difficult, yet it is certainly no less important.

Inner work can be some of the most valuable work we do, overcoming depression, fear, addiction, grief, and regret through patient inner work can lead to significant and long-lasting improvements in our lives and the lives of others around us.

Daily Calm.

I’ve been learning to meditate and this excerpt comes from an app that I’ve been using. It helps me to slow down relax, breathe, and refocus.
