The Daily Cleanse: Easy Routine

The Program

Let’s jump right in! A Facial moisturizer is not the same as a body moisturizer. If you want to keep your face looking energized and firm, while protecting it from environmental toxins, you need a face moisturizer. Usually, a face moisturizer will accomplish 3 things: Protect, Renew, and Hydrate.

First, let’s start with, protect. Jojoba oils create a protective layer around the skin, which prevents water loss. This keeps the skin from looking dull. Roobios extract is also known for its ability to fight free radicals, which can cause damage to the skin over time. Sunscreen is also essential. If you know you’ll be in the sun for over 30 minutes, apply sunscreen. Also, some face moisturizers already come with sunscreen in them.

Next, there is renew. A daily face moisturizer should help fight aging. Green tea and Aloe are 2 natural ingredients that help prevent and reverse fine lines and wrinkles. A good face moisturizer will absorb quickly and be lightweight.

Lastly, a face moisturizer should Hydrate the skin. Vitamin E, Hyaluronic acid, and aloe are a few natural ingredients that keep the face looking hydrated. When the face is hydrated, it gives a more energized look. The more hydration the skin has, the more firm it appears. Hydrated skin also helps give a “bright” look versus a dull complexion.

It is recommended you apply a face moisturizer after cleansing the face. You want to make sure to clear the face of oil, sweat, and other impurities before putting a facial lotion on it. Not washing the face could trap bacteria and oil in the pores. Also, when you excessively dry out the face, oil glands will produce excess oil, to restore what was removed.

Finally, only a small amount of a face moisturizer is necessary. Apply approximately a dime-size amount to your entire face. Gently rub the moisturizer into all areas of your face. If you are concerned with wrinkles, be sure to add a little more moisturizer to the forehead,  as well as around the eyes. Those two areas are where men are most susceptible to getting wrinkles first.

Here are a few products I use on my skin daily, these products can be purchased by clicking:

I use these three products on my face daily, the cocoa butter only as needed and you only have to use a small amount. This is probably the best cocoa butter I’ve ever come across its great for getting rid of blemishes or healing scars I recommend trying out all three products.
